Gathering Sage

We are a small, artisan farm growing high quality medicinal and culinary herbs for our community.
All of our plants are grown without the use of harmful chemicals or pesticides.
We are committed to the preservation of native medicinal plants and their habitat, saving seed for future plantings and protecting these plants for generations to come.

Stop by our farm shop Thursday through Saturday where new products are added every week!
Check out our wide range of medicinal products, culinary treats, and home care creations.
We carry tinctures, salves, honey, teas, dried herbs, bath salts, plant hangers and more.
Find and read about our ‘farm feature’ of the month with recipe cards to take and try out at home.
All our herbs are harvested by hand and processed in small batches with care and mindfulness. Everything is made on the farm, by the farmer!
We have a small plant nursery with info cards detailing the plants habitat and features.
Visit us regularly to see what’s in bloom and new in stock!



U-Pick
Info & Safety Guide

With over 60 varieties of medicinal and culinary plants, Gathering Sage offers a one-of-a-kind experience.
Our relationship with plants is inextricable and we invite you to explore our haven of healing and nourishing herbs.
Harvest what you need for your favourite culinary delights, apothecary, dyes, home care supplies and more.
Getting Started
Upon arrival, follow the arrow signs to our U-pick field where you will be greeted by staff.
Harvest tools and information will be provided.
There is a list of herbs with prices in the farm shop, along with measuring scales and bags for checkout.
Safety Guide
- Please respect the private property and stay on the path to the field.
- Pets are not allowed in the field.
- Watch your step. There is uneven ground.
- Be aware! You may encounter bees, frogs or other critters. Please be cautious, particularly for those with bee or wasp sting allergies.
- Children must be under adult supervision.
- Use farm at your own risk. We do not accept responsibility.
- Restrooms are not available.
- We are a non-smoking farm.

Farm Shop:

U-Pick:
Thursday – Saturday from 10 to 4. (April – October)
Available in winter for roots, by appointment only.
Parking:
Parking is limited in front of the farm shop.
Additional street parking available on William Head Road and Happy Valley Road.
Transit:
The 54-Metchosin bus stops at William Head and Parry, just steps past the farm. One stop after the My-Chosen Café at Happy Valley Road.
